Terms of use
Plain language, kept honest. Last updated 10 October 2026.
The short version
Nexus is a free, private, invite-only service that its owner runs for a small circle of people. Access is a favour, not a product — there is no uptime promise and no warranty.
Your account
- Accounts are personal. Don't share your password, and don't use someone else's account.
- You're responsible for what happens through your account.
Fair use
- Daily request limits apply so one person can't burn through the shared provider quota. When you hit a limit, that's the limit — it resets the next day.
- The owner may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service, hammer it with automated traffic, or use it to attack the service or its providers.
What you send
- Your messages are sent to third-party AI providers to generate answers — see the Privacy page for how data is handled.
- Don't use the service for anything illegal.
- AI answers can be wrong. Check anything that matters before you rely on it.
Your own keys
If you add your own provider API keys, they stay yours — encrypted with your password — and you're responsible for them and for anything charged against them by their provider.
Changes
The service and these terms can change as the instance evolves. This page is a plain-language summary of how the instance runs, not a legal contract.
